Volleyball drops match to Conn College

HARTFORD, Conn. --- Heather Arvidson had eight kills and three blocks for the Colby College volleyball team, but Connecticut College improved to 13-9 this season with a 3-1 victory over the Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference play at Trinity College on Friday night.

The Camels won by scores of 25-10, 25-22, 23-25, 25-23 in moving to 4-2 in the NESCAC. The Mules fall to 9-10 overall and 0-4 in league play.

Jenny Lawrence added 20 defensive digs and 18 assists for Colby. Megan Conroy also had 20 digs and led in service aces with four.

Colby plays Wesleyan at 1:30 on Saturday and then faces Trinity at 4 p.m.
