Volleyball team wins in three over Regis

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Heather Arvidson had nine kills in her final home match to power the Colby College volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Regis College on Saturday at Wadsworth Gymnasium.

Caitlin Burchill, Lily Kramlich-Taylor, and Maggie Taylor all had seven kills for the Mules (7-14). Burchill also had 12 defensive digs and a pair of aces, Taylor had nine digs, and Kramlich-Taylor finished with six digs and three aces.

First-year setter Kate Pleasants added 25 assists, 14 digs, and a pair of aces in the 25-23, 25-16, 25-20 victory. Hannah Bowman, also playing in her final match at home, had 12 digs. Meanwhile, senior captain Clare Reich had eight digs in her finale at home. Mackie Sewall had five kills and Ellie Linden had four assists and three digs in one game.

Colby was down 14-8 in the third game before storming back for the victory.
