Bowdoin volleyball takes win over Mules

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- The Bowdoin College volleyball team won for the second time in league play with a 3-0 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Friday night.

Colby falls to 4-12 overall and 0-5 in league play heading into Saturday's 1:30 p.m. match with Tufts University. Bowdoin improves to 12-6 overall and 2-2 in the conference.

The Polar Bears won by scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-12. 

Emily Ten Eyck had 13 defensive digs and 11 assists for Colby. Clare Reich also had 13 digs, Heather Arvidson finished with six kills, Caitlin Burchill had five kills and eight digs, and Emily Varni had eight digs.
