Women's basketball ends trip with setback

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. --- Katie McCabe made the all-tournament team for the Colby College women's basketball team as the Mules fell 70-57 to Beloit College in the Florida Sunshine Shootout on Saturday.

McCabe finished with 22 points on 10-for-17 shooting and added 10 rebounds. Meredith Aronson added 13 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Alison Cappelloni and Julianne Kowalski both eight points for the Mules (1-7).

Beloit (5-3) led 40-36 at halftime as the Mules shot 50 percent (17-for-34) in the opening 20 minutes.

Diana Sopkowicz led Beloit with 24 points.
