WATERVILLE, Maine --- Alison Cappelloni (Sudbury, Mass.) went over 900 career points with a game-high 21 points in leading the unbeaten Colby College women's basketball team to a 77-39 win over University of Maine at Farmington on Tuesday night at Wadsworth Gymnasium.

Cappelloni, a three-year captain, moved her career scoring total to 907 points. She was 3-for-4 from 3-point range and 6-for-6 from the foul line. Cappelloni also had a game-high eight rebounds.

Colby, now 3-0 and averaging 76 points per game in the unbeaten start, also received 11 points, six assists, and three steals from Samantha Allen (Bridgton, Maine). Sophomore point guard Aarika Ritchie (Lee, Maine) added 10 points, a game-high six assists, and three steals. Rachael Mack (Augusta, Maine) added eight points and six rebounds, while Julianne Kowalski (Montville, N.J.) had six points and seven rebounds.

Colby had a 41-29 advantage on the boards and had assists on 20 of its 29 field goals. The Mules also forced 33 turnovers and had 19 steals. Jil Vaughan (Wareham, Mass.) had a team-high four steals.

UMF (1-2) received eight points from Jillian Ross (Belfast, Maine) and seven from Ashley Busque (Belgrade, Maine).

Colby returns to action at home against Maine Maritime Academy on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 5:30 p.m.
