Women's basketball up to 19 wins on season

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Jules Kowalski moved to with one point of 1,000 career points and teammate Rachael Mack had a double-double as the Colby College women's basketball team moved to 19-4 overall with a 67-49 victory over Wesleyan University on Friday night.

Mack finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Kowalski had 11 points and six rebounds. Kowalski will her milestone with the first point she scores in Saturday's 4 p.m. away game at Connecticut College. Aarika Ritchie finished with 13 points, while Jil Vaughan had nine for Colby.

The Mules moved within one victory of 20 on the season and stand at 6-2 in the conference. Colby will clinch the second seed for the second straight year win a win against the Camels Saturday.
