Bowdoin women defeat Colby in basketball

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Katie McCabe (Watertown, Conn.) scored 18 points for the Colby College women's basketball team in a 78-32 loss to Bowdoin College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.
McCabe also had six rebounds for Colby (5-15, 1-6). Kathleen Nicholson (Tuftonboro, N.H.) added six points and five rebounds. Bowdoin (21-1, 7-0 NESCAC) got 12 points apiece from Caitlin Hynes (Owl’s Head, Maine) and Eileen Flaherty (Fairfield, Conn.).
