WATERVILLE, Maine --- Rachael Mack had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds and teammate Jules Kowalski finished with 13 points and five assists as the Colby College women's basketball team rolled to an 81-60 victory over Middlebury College in NESCAC play Friday night at Wadsworth Gymnasium.

Colby moves to 16-4 overall and 4-2 in league play, while Middlebury drops to 12-6 overall and 2-4 in the conference.

Kelly Potvin added 12 points and eight boards off the bench for the Mules, Jacky McLaughlin had 11 points, and Aarika Ritchie finished with 10 for Colby. Diana Manduca added eight points and seven assists for the winners.

Colby had 27 assists on its 30 made field goals. Jayde Bennett and Jil Vaughan both had four assists for the Mules.

Scarlett Kirk had 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting to lead Middlebury. Stephany Surrette and Tracy Borsinger both had 10 points, while Maddie Moreau dished seven assists and had seven points.

The Mules used their size advantage to open up a 40-28 lead at halftime and had a 38-26 rebounding advantage. Colby shot 57 percent from the field and was a red-hot 60 percent (9-for-15) from 3-point range.
