Gravel leads women's cross country

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- Katrina Gravel finished 12^th out of 144 runners for the Colby College women's cross country team at the Williams College Purple Valley Classic on Saturday.

Gravel had a time of 23 minutes, 2 seconds over the 6-kilometer course. Emma Linhard placed 18^th in 23:15, Nora McCall was 41^st with a 24:20, and Mandy Ivey took 45^th in 24:27.

Johns Hopkins won the meet with a score of 29. Colby had a 139 total to place fifth overall out of 12 teams.
