Women's hockey drops opener at Saint Michael's

COLCHESTER, Vt. --- The Colby College women's hockey team had two early leads and were tied at 3-3 before Saint Michael's College  stormed back for a 5-3 win over the Mules in the Saint Michael's Tournament on Saturday night.

Caroline Chessare, Stephanie Scarpato, and Marissa Simmons all had goals for Colby.

The Mules will play Chatham at 1 p.m. Sunday during the second day of the tourney. Chatham took an 8-0 win over Plymouth State in the other game Saturday.
