NEW LONDON, Conn. --- Becky Julian scored with just 1.7 seconds left in regulation to help the Colby College women's hockey team to a 3-3 overtime tie with Connecticut College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.
Julian scored her 14th goal of the season off assists from Amanda Comeau and Heather Nickerson.
Colby (8-6-3, 3-3-3 NESCAC) battled back from a 3-1 deficit after Meryl Poulin tallied off assists from Julian and Nickerson with 6:52 remaining in regulation.
The Mules took a 1-0 lead in the first period off a goal from Laura Anning and an assist from Marissa Mullane. Conn College (6-6-4, 4-1-3), though, scored the next three goals.
Genevieve Triganne stopped 29 shots in goal for Colby.
