WORCESTER, Mass. --- After battling to a scoreless tie with unbeaten Holy Cross after one period, the Colby College women's hockey team kept the game close over the final two periods in a 5-1 setback to the Crusaders on Tuesday night. Holy Cross improves to 10-0-1 overall, while the Mules fall to 2-5-4. Colby goalie Loni Pisani made 31 saves, including 12 in the first period when the teams settled for a 0-0 tie. Stephanie Scarpato had her fifth goal of the season for the Mules. Scarpato had an unassisted goal at 14:33 of the final period on the power play to make the score 4-1. Jocelyn Kratchmer had two goals and one assist for the Crusaders.
