WATERVILLE, Maine -- Cindy Lebel (Hebron Academy/Greenville, Maine) had one goal and one assist to help Saint Anselm College record it 10th straight victory with a 2-0 win against Colby College in women's hockey Tuesday night at Alfond Rink.
Lebel scored the eventual game-winning goal at 10:44 of the second period on the power play. Maggie Dwyer (Washington Pride/Elkridge, Md.) had the assist on the goal. Bianca DeSantis (Neumann/Georgetown, Mass.) had an empty net goal with 29 seconds left to clinch the win for the Hawks (10-0).Colby goalie Genevieve Triganne (Westminster School/Pointe-Claire, Quebec) allowed one goal and made 33 saves to keep the Mules (1-3-1) in the game. Saint Anselm keeper Andrea Berlin (Oyster River/Durham, N.H.) made seven stops for the shutout.
