WATERVILLE, Maine --- Stephanie Scarpato (Osterville, Mass.), who has accumulated 80 career points in three seasons for Colby College was named to the 2010 New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Ice Hockey All-Conference Second Team on Thursday.
Scarpato, a junior forward and captain, finished fifth in the NESCAC in scoring with 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points. She ranks tied for seventh in the conference in assists per game (0.64) and ninth in scoring (0.48). Scarpato's big moment this season came in Colby's 3-2 upset of then top-ranked Amherst College when she had a point on all three goals.
Scarpato heads into her senior season at Colby with 34 goals and 46 assists for 80 career points in 72 games.
