WATERVILLE, Maine --- Senior All-American Amy Campbell (North Andover, Mass.) had six goals and first-year player Catherine Kahl (Alexandria, Va.) added four as the sixth-ranked Colby College women's lacrosse team coasted to a 21-4 victory over University of Southern Maine in non-conference play Tuesday at Bill Alfond Field. Anne Geraghty (Westford, Mass.) added two goals and two assists for the Mules (2-0). Lane McVey (Bronxville, N.Y.) and Kate Pistel (Amherst, Mass.) also had two goals for the winners. Casey Thomas (Needham, Mass.), Katie Briody (Hopewell, N.J.), Ali Iannotti (North Haven, Conn.), and Hilary Barr (Ridgewood, N.J.) also tallied. Barr scored her first collegiate goal. Claire Donegan (Great Falls, Va.) added two assists and a team-high three caused turnovers for Colby. Jessica Knight (Alfred, Maine) had all four goals for Southern Maine (0-1). Knight's first goal of the game tied the contest at 1-1 with 22:28 left in the half, but the Mules scored eight straight goals after that to go up 11-2 at intermission.
