WATERVILLE, Maine --- Claire Donegan had two goals and two assists and teammate Amy Campbell finished with three goals as the sixth-ranked Colby College women's lacrosse team took a 15-7 win over University of New England in non-conference play Thursday.

The Mules are 3-0 overall heading into Saturday's noon road game at Tufts University.

Colby led 6-2 at halftime and UNE (1-1) cut the margin to 10-7 in the second half with 9:10 to play in the game. However, the Mules scored the final five goals of the game in 8:08 to pull away.

Kate Pistel, Katie Briody, and Anne Geraghty all had two goals for the Mules. Casey Thomas added one score and two assists, Hilary Barr had one goal and one assist, Kathleen Kramer finished with one goal, and Tess Petesch had her first collegiate goal.

Sarah Warnke and Keryn Meierdiercks combined for seven saves for Colby. Caroline Duke added a team-high four caused turnovers and had three groundballs. Pistel finished with four draw controls.
