WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College women's lacrosse team finished sixth in the final Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III poll, the highest final ranking for the team in program history. The 2008 and 2009 teams each finished with a final ranking of eight in the IWLCA poll. Colby started the 2010 season at 10th in the opening poll of the year. Colby finished the 2010 season at 15-5 and advanced to an NCAA Division III Tournament quarterfinal game for the first time in school history.
