Wells fifth in steeplechase for Colby women

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Greta Wells took fifth place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the Colby College women's outdoor track and field team at the ECAC Championships on Thursday at Moravian College.

Wells finished in a time of 11:15.93, while the Mules also received ninth-place finishes from Leigh Fryxell in the javelin throw (37.40 meters) and Brittany Reardon with a 14.93 in the 100 hurdles. Annabelle Hicks took 10^th place in the 100 dash.

The second and last day of competition resumes Friday.
