Women's soccer settles for 0-0 tie with Monks

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College goalkeeper Loni Pisani (St. Paul's School/Kanata, Canada) and St. Joseph's keeper Katye Mayo (Lawrence/Fairfield, Maine) each posted shutouts as the Mules and the Monks played to a 0-0 tie in non-conference women's soccer Wednesday.

Pisani was credited with 11 saves for her fourth shutout of the season, while Mayo had seven stops for her fifth shutout for St. Joseph's (12-1-1).

The Monks had a 17-15 shot advantage and a 6-5 margin in corner kicks over Colby (3-5-2).

Colby will play host to Amherst College on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The Monks will play host to St. Joseph's (Conn.) College at 1 p.m. Saturday.
