Women's soccer stopped by Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. --- The Colby College women's soccer team, fresh off a 1-0 league win at Bowdoin College on Wednesday, could not make it two conference wins in a row after falling 3-0 at Tuft University on Saturday.

The Mules fall to 3-5-1 overall and 1-4-1 in the conference, while Tufts is 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the league.

Whitney Hardy scored off a cross from Cara Cadigan for what proved to be the game-winning goal just 6:43 into the game. Cadigan then made it 2-0 at 14:59 after she stole a ball and broke in alone on the right side. Bailey Morgan scored off a corner kick with about 13 minutes to play in the second half for the final goal.

Kate Minnehan stopped one shot for the Tufts shutout. Loni Pisani was credited with three saves for Colby.
