Goalies star as women's soccer ties

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College goalkeeper Loni Pisani (Kanata, Ontario) and Connecticut College keeper Jenna Ross (Longmeadow, Mass.) both posted shutouts as the two teams battled to a 0-0 overtime tie in New England Small College Athletic Conference women’s soccer Saturday.

Both goalkeepers made 11 saves in the game and each team was credited with 17 shots. Colby (4-5-1 overall, 1-4-1 NESCAC) did have a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Colby will play nationally top-ranked Williams College in another NESCAC game Sunday at 11 a.m. The Camels are 4-6-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the conference.
