Women's soccer falls in non-conference game

BANGOR, Maine --- Michelle Manning scored at 20:25 of the first half and Husson University made the goal stand up in a 1-0 non-conference victory over Colby College on Tuesday in women's soccer.

Colby stands at 4-5-3 heading into the final two regular season games of the season. The Mules will entertain Connecticut College in a NESCAC game at 11 a.m. Saturday. Colby finishes the regular season next Friday at home to Bates College at 3 p.m.

Manning helped Husson move to 11-5-1 off an assist from Rebecca Jones in a game with little offense. The Eagles had a 12-4 shot advantage and a 4-3 margin in corner kicks.

Loni Pisani had three saves for Colby, while Husson keeper Rozlyn Peterson made one stop.
