MIDDLEBURY, Vt. --- Loni Pisani made 14 saves for the Colby College women's soccer team in helping the Mules stay in the game in a 3-0 loss at 20th-ranked Middlebury College on Saturday in a NESCAC game. Pisani made seven saves in each half as the Panthers (6-0 overall, 4-0 NESCAC) had a 23-5 shot advantage. Middlebury is ranked third in New England Division III. Annie Rowell scored at 16 minutes and 21:41 to give Middlebury a 2-0 lead at the break. Margaret Owen added the final goal with about 13 minutes to play. Colby's best chance for a goal came on a direct kick by Lexi Bohonnon that sailed just over the cross bar in the final minutes of play.
