Women's soccer falls to Wesleyan

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Lauren Ogden (New Haven, Vt.) scored 4:25 into the game and Wesleyan University made the goal stand up in a 1-0 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's soccer Saturday.

Ogden knocked in a rebound off a shot by Marissa Trevisan (Brookline, Mass.) that had hit the cross bar. Danielle Crystal (Newton, Mass.) also received an assist after starting the play with the cross to Trevisan.

Gavi Elkind (San Francisco, Calif.) made eight saves to earn the Wesleyan (5-4, 3-2 NESCAC) shutout.

Colby (6-1-2, 2-1-2), which lost for the first time this season, got six stops from Liza Benson (Orchid, Fla.).
