Williams women's soccer downs Colby

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- Despite taking an early 1-0 lead, the Colby College women's soccer team fell 5-1 to Williams College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Sunday.

Meaghan Edwards scored 7:32 into the game off an assist from Lauren Goethals to give Colby (3-5-1, 0-5-1 NESCAC) a 1-0 lead.

Williams made it 2-1 at halftime on goals by Gabrielle Woodson at 21:20 and Brianna Wolfson at 26:30. Woodson added her second goal of the game at 59:51 to help the Ephs pull away.

Loni Pisani made five saves in goal for the Mules.
