WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- The Colby College women's soccer team held Williams College to no goals in the first half during the regular season, but the nationally second-ranked Ephs tallied three times in the opening 45 minutes on the way to a 4-0 win in a New England Small College Athletic Conference quarterfinal game Sunday.
Williams (15-0), the top seed in the NESCAC, also took a 4-0 win over eighth-seeded Colby in a NESCAC quarterfinal game last year on the way to winning its second straight league title. The Ephs took a 3-0 win against the Mules during the regular season.
