Women's squash finishes with win

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. ---- The Colby College women’s squash team finished 23rd in the country after defeating St. Lawrence University by an 8-1 score at the Howe Cup on Sunday at Harvard University.

The Mules (9-13) and the Saints were playing in the Walker Cup (teams ranked 17 to 24) and were playing in the 23-24 match.

Samantha Smith was a convincing winner at the first position, dropping just seven points in three games. Catherine Monrad, Maddie Dufour, Jess Vogel, Caroline Reaves, Jae Paik, Jessica Kravetz, and Alison Crevi were the other winners. Kravetz fought back from a 2-1 games deficit to win her match at the eighth position.
