Bates women's tennis stops Colby

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Tara Davidson and Caroline Reaves won singles matches for the Colby College women's tennis team in a 6-3 loss to Bates College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Tuesday night.

Davidson took a 4-6, 6-3, (10-5 pro set) win over Jean Gulliver at fifth singles, while Reaves won a tight 7-6 (4), 7-5 victory over Caroline Gottlieb at the sixth spot. Meanwhile, Katie Brezinski and Katherine Koleski won at third doubles for the Mules (1-2).
