Women's tennis falls to Whitworth

HILTON HEAD, S.C. --- The Colby College women’s tennis team dropped to 1-1 on the spring season as Whitworth College took a 7-2 victory over the Mules on Tuesday.

Sally Meehan won at sixth singles by scores of 7-6 (4), 6-4 for the Mules. Tara Davidson and Katie Brezinski teamed up at second doubles for the other Colby win.

The Mules are off Tuesday before taking on Carleton College on Wednesday at noon.
