CLINTON, N.Y. ---The Colby College women's tennis team moved to 7-4 overall after capturing two doubles wins and earning four straight sets singles victories in a 6-3 win over Hamilton College in NESCAC play Saturday. The Mules are 2-2 in the league heading into Wednesday's 4 p.m. match at Bowdoin College. Hamilton drops to 3-6 overall and 0-3 in the league. Katie Brezinski and Tara Davidson each won singles matches and the two joined forces to win 8-4 at second doubles. Brezinski notched a 6-4, 6-2 win at fourth singles, while Davidson had it even easier with a 6-1, 6-2 win at the fifth spot. Caroline Reaves won at second singles and Kathryn Vergeyle took the sixth singles match for the Mules. Vergeyle also teamed with Julie Achenbaum for a win at third doubles.
