WATERVILLE, Maine --- Caroline Reaves (Chevy Chase, Md.) won a key match at second singles as the Colby College women’s tennis team posted a 6-3 win against Hamilton College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.
Reaves took a 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (3) win over Laura Brantley for a big point for the Mules (3-6 overall, 1-2 NESCAC). Tara Davidson (Concord, Mass.), Kathryn Vergeyle (Orono, Minn.), and Sally Meehan (Cohasset, Mass.) were other singles winners for the Mules.
Davidson and Brezinski moved to 5-1 this spring since the team’s trip to Hilton Head with an easy win at second doubles. Meehan and Vergeyle also cruised to a win at third doubles.
