Women's tennis holds off Conn College

NEW LONDON, Conn. --- The Colby College women's tennis team started the day out by taking all three doubles matches and then splitting the singles matches in a 6-3 victory over Connecticut College in NESCAC play Sunday.

Katie Muto and Tess Perese earned a 9-8 (8-6) win at first doubles, while Kathryn Vergeyle and Sarah Wiener teamed for a win at the second spot. Kate Brezinski, who took a hard-fought win at second singles, earned the third doubles victory with Sally Holmes.

Brezinski, Holmes, and Mckenzie Love took singles matches for the Mules (7-2, 2-2 NESCAC).
