WATERVILLE, Maine --- Sarah Wiener and Sally Holmes both won singles matches for the Colby College women's tennis team in a 7-2 loss to Amherst College on Saturday. Wiener lost the first set 6-2 at fourth singles, but battled back for a 6-4 win in the second set and then a 10-6 pro-set victory. Meanwhile, Holmes had a straight set win at sixth singles by 6-3, 6-3 scores. Colby falls to 4-12 overall and 2-5 in the NESCAC, while Amherst is 10-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
