WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby women's tennis team fell to 6-4 overall and 1-2 in the New England Small College Athletic Conference after dropping a 9-0 match to 17th-ranked Tufts University on Saturday.
Julia Browne (Old Brookville, N.Y.) and Meghan McCooey (Cumberland, R.I.) captured an 8-0 win at first doubles and each won their singles matches to lead the Jumbos (5-3, 1-0 NESCAC).
Katie Brezinski (Littleton, Colo.) had the closest singles match for Colby, falling in a tie-breaker in the first set.
