Linhard, Kondrat lead women's track

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- Emma Linhard placed fourth in the mile and was eighth in the 800-meter run for the Colby College women at the New England Division III Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships at Bowdoin College on Saturday.

Linhard had a time of 5:09.16 in the mile and finished with a 2:19.49 in the 800 as the Mules placed 10^th out of 24 teams with 23 points.

Brianna Kondrat also had a fourth in the weight throw (47-7.75) and took ninth in the shot put (37-1.25). Katrina Gravel had a personal best time of 10:32.22 in taking seventh in the 3,000-meter run and Danielle Sheppard also was seventh in the high jump (5-0.25). Heather MacDonald was ninth in the 1,000 meters (3:05.90).

Colby’s 3,200 relay team of Robyn St. Laurent, Linhard, MacDonald, and Devan FitzPatrick placed sixth in 9:46.52. The Mules also received a sixth from the distance medley relay team of Greta Wells, Brittany Tschaen, FitzPatrick, and Gravel in 12:40.65.
