Barton earns another seventh for Colby Nordic

JACKSON, N.H. --- For the second straight day, the Colby College men's Nordic team had a skier place seventh in Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) racing on Saturday at the Jackson Ski Touring Center.
 
Jake Barton took seventh place in the 20-kilometer freestyle mass start in a time of 50:00.9. John Dixon, who took seventh in sprints Friday, snuck into the top 20 by placing 20th Saturday in 50:43.2. Levin Zars had a solid run as well, placing 26th in 51:29.2.
 
The Colby men finished with 79 points and took fourth out of 13 teams. The Mules were just one point out of third place and only two out of sixth place.
 
Olga Golovkina placed 24th in the women's 15K freestyle mass start in 45:08.0, while teammate Lizzie Anderson finished 29th with a 45:40.3.
