Eight make NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Eight Colby College student-athletes were named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Fall All-Sportsmanship Team on Wednesday.

Honored for Colby included: first-year men's cross country athlete Stefan Sandreuter (Cumberland, Maine), junior women's cross country athlete Kate Connolly (Needham, Mass.), senior field hockey player Lauren Zion (Beverly, Mass.), senior football player Michael Lahiff (Melrose, Mass.), senior golfer Tripp Huber (Darien, Conn.), junior men's soccer player Grey Benjamin (Medway, Mass.), senior women's soccer player Kate Laxson (Wayzata, Minn.), and senior volleyball player Maggie Taylor (Washington, D.C.).

Of the 86 NESCAC student-athletes honored, Sandreuter was one of only two first-years to be selected. 

The NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes from each varsity sport who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to sportsmanship. The team was created by the NESCAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
