INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Colby College senior Mason Roberts (San Rafael, Calif.) ended his collegiate swimming career with a 19th-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday.
Roberts finished in a time of 2 minutes, 5.79 seconds. That time was faster than his prelim clocking at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championships, but slower than his school record time of 2:04.08 in the league championship final.
Roberts, who earned two All-NESCAC honors and swam to three school records in the breastroke races, finished in 17th place in the 100 breaststroke at the NCAA meet. Roberts started the season in November with a 2:12.5 time in the 200.
