SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. --- Maggie Taylor made the all-tournament team after leading the Colby College volleyball team to a 3-0 record at the Hall of Fame Tournament on Saturday.
Taylor had eight kills and 11 defensive digs in a 3-1 victory (25-10, 17-25, 25-9, 25-23) over Wheaton College. She also had 12 digs and five kills in a 3-0 win (25-17, 25-16, 25-16) against Mount Holyoke College.
Colby, now 10-12 overall, also received a team-high nine kills from Lily Kramlich-Taylor in the win over Wheaton. Kate Bellerose and Mackie Sewall each had seven kills, Kate Pleasants dished 28 assists and had three service aces, Emily Varni had 18 digs, and Caitlin Burchill finished with 13 digs,
Burchill and Bellerose both finished with nine kills against Mount Holyoke. Burchill also had 17 digs and Bellerose added four blocks. Varni contributed 11 digs and three aces.
Colby will play at Maine Maritime Academy on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
