Volleyball team falls short in league match

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. --- After a long night at Middlebury on Friday, the Colby College volleyball team fell 3-0 at Williams College in NESCAC play Saturday.
Kate Pleasants led the Mules in digs (12) and assists (20), while Natalie Roy finished with 11 kills and six digs. Maggie Taylor chipped in eight kills and had eight digs. Colby fell 25-22, 25-22, 25-8 in the match.
The Mules fall to 7-4 overall and 1-2 in NESCAC play, whille the Ephs are 9-5 overall and 4-1 in the conference.
Katherine Lane finished with 12 kills on 26 attempts (.476 attack percentage) and Claire Miller added 11 kills for Williams. Ryan Farley dished 37 assists for the winners.
