2011 season highlights: Abby was on the NESCAC Fall Sportsmanship Team and the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. She had the best finish for the Mules at the ECAC meet, taking 26th place overall. She also was 24th at the Maine state meet, 13th in the junior/senior race against Bates, and 91st at the conference event. 2010 season highlights: Cheruiyot, who was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team, was 37th at the ECAC event, 31st at the Maine State meet, 32nd at Pineland Farms, and eighth in a first-year/junior race with Bates at Pineland. 2009 season highlights: Abby took 26th at the Maine State meet and was 111th at the NESCAC event. 2008 season highlights: Cheruiyot placed 54th at the Maine State meet, was eighth in the first-year race at the Bates relay carnival, and took 48th in the second varsity race at UMass-Dartmouth. At Colby: Abby majored in Biology with a minor in Math...she also participated in track and field...she is president of the African Club and a member of the Colby Dancers...Medical Research Assistant at Kenya Medical Research Institute during the summer. Before Colby: Graduated from Sing'ore Girls School.
