2012-13 season highlights: Wheeler, a captain, played 95.6 percent of the minutes for the Mules and led the NESCAC in total saves with 682. She was fifth in the conference in save percentage (.915). Brianne, who will captain the 2013-14 team, was NESCAC Player of the Week for Feb. 11. She has 1,947 saves in her career and a .920 career save percentage. 2011-12 season highlights: Brianne earned All-NESCAC second team honors after leading the NESCAC in total saves with 669 (runner-up had 518). She was sixth in the conference in save percentage (.918) playing behind a young Mule squad. Wheeler, who played about 86 percent of the minutes, has made 1,265 saves in two years. 2010-11 season highlights: Wheeler earned the starting goalie job and had a fine first season. She was third in the NESCAC in save percentage (.928) and fifth in goals against average (2.21). She made 596 saves and won eight games.
