2011 season highlights: Brittney took fourth place in the 400-meter dash at the ECAC Championships and was sixth in the event at the New England Division III meet. Bell earned All-NESCAC honors and was a league champion along with Brittany Reardon, Annabelle Hicks, and Frances Onyilagha in the 400 relay at the conference meet. Brittney also had fourth in the 400 dash and a seventh in the 200 meters at the league meet. At the Aloha Relays at Bowdoin, Bell finished second in both the 200 and 400 dash races. Bell was part of both the winning 400 and 1,600 relays teams at the Colby Invitational and placed second in the 200 meters and third in the 100 dash. She added a fourth in the 400 meters and ran the anchor leg of a winning 1,600 meter relay team at the Bates Quad meet. Brittney also had a second in the 400 at Point Loma. At Colby: Brittney is pursuing a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry...she is a member of EnvicoCo and LuziCare. Before Colby: Brittney played soccer and ran indoor track, outdoor track, and cross-country at Poland Regional High School...she was the 400-meter state champion twice, the long jump state champion, conference championships for the 200 dash, 400 meters, and long jump...captain of both the indoor and outdoor track teams, salutatorian, and National Honor Society.
