2011 season highlights: Sperzel was 44th in the Maine State meet, 44th at Bowdoin, and ninth in the first-year/sophomore race against Bates. At Colby: Caitlin majors in Spanish, with a minor in English. Before Colby: Caitlin participated in varsity cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track at Lake Forest High School...she was a North Suburban Conference All-Academic athlete her junior and senior year...she was NSC All-Conference for cross country and track her senior year.
