2009 season highlights: Cassi missed most of the season with an injury. She took 13th and earned All-New England honors at the NCAA qualifier, placed 13th and earned all-conference honors at the NESCAC meet, and was 38th at the NCAA event. Knight was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. 2008 season highlights: Knight just missed All-American honors after taking 36th at the NCAA meet to help Colby finish 17th in the country. She also led the Mules by placing 12th at the NCAA New England Region Qualifier. She was 17th at the league meet and took 5th at the Maine State meet. Knight was named to the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. 2007 season highlights: Cassi took 46th at the NCAA meet after placing 26th at the New England Region Qualifier. She took 18th at the conference meet and seventh at the state meet. 2006 season highlights: Knight was 27th at the state meet and 55th at ECAC's during her first year. At Colby: Cassi double majors in Geology and Environmental Science... member of the Geology Club, Knitting Club, and Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC)... worked as a research assistant in Colby's Geology Department this past summer. Before Colby: Ran cross country, outdoor track, and skied (Nordic) at Concord-Carlisle High School.
