McKinney was on the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team. 2008-09 season highlights: McKinney played about 75 percent of the minutes and earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors for November 24. 2007-08 season highlights: Cody had a 13-4-1 record, a 2.04 goals against average, and a .931 save percentage. He was third in the NESCAC in both save percentage and goals against average. McKinney earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors for February 25.
