2010 season highlights: Linhard placed 91st at the NCAA meet and earned All-New England honors for taking 18th in the NCAA New England Region Championships. She also placed 29th at the NESCAC meet and sixth at the Maine State event. Emma was honored with Colby's Patty Valavanis Award for demonstrating qualities of academic and athletic excellence and personal leadership and sportsmanship. A captain for the Mules, she also made the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. 2009 season highlights: Emma placed second at the Maine State meet, was seventh at the ECAC event, 18th at Williams, and 35 at the NESCAC meet. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. 2008 season highlights: Linhard led the Mules in a number of races, including a fifth at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational, a second at the Maine State meet, and 57th at Open New England's. She placed 23rd at the NCAA New England Region Qualifier and went on to take 77th at the national meet. Emma also placed 20th at the conference championships. 2007 season highlights: Linhard made instant contributions as a first year. She was 141st at the NCAA meet after taking 43rd at the New England Region qualifier. She also took 48th at the league meet and 22nd at the Maine event. At Colby: Emma double majors in Economics and English... works at Acadia National Park in the summer. Before Colby: Played soccer, ran cross country and track at Brunswick High School.  National Honor Society... Spanish Honor Society.
