2011 season highlights: James, who was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, finished ninth in the 400 meters and 11th in the javelin throw at the Maine State meet. He took second in the 400 meters and sixth in the javelin at the Colby Invitational. Took an eighth in the javelin at the Bates Quad meet.
