2011-12 season highlights: Jayde, who was on the NESCAC All-Academic Team, played about 17 minutes per game and averaged 4.1 points. She had 57 assists this season and added 22 steals. Bennett's biggest improvement was at the free-throw line, where she shot nearly 89 percent (31-for-35) after shooting 54 percent a year ago. Her play in the final 10 minutes of the second half helped Colby to a NESCAC quarterfinal win over Williams. Jayde has 140 assists in her three seasons. 2010-11 season highlights: Bennett led the Mules in steals (37 total), was third in assists (67), averaged 18.1 minutes per game, 3.1 points, and 3.4 rebounds. 2009-10 season highlights: Jayde had a knee injury at the start of the season and played in 10 of Colby's 29 games. She immediately came back on February 1 after doctor's clearance and supplied spark off the bench. Bennett averaged 1.7 points and 1.6 assists. At Colby:  Jayde majors in Sociology and minors in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies...member of the women's soccer team at Colby and has been a starter in goal...member of SAAC..coached Colby soccer and basketball camps summer of 2011...traveled in Latin America during summer of 2010. Before Colby: Played basketball, soccer, and lacrosse at the Kent School...named team MVP two times in soccer and basketball...named Defensive MVP twice in lacrosse...All-New England in basketball...NEPSAC MVP in soccer...Cum Laude Society...Senior Prefect.
