2011 season highlights: Jess, who was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, was 15th in the 400 hurdles and also competed in the long and triple jumps at the NESCAC Championships. Mullaney was third in the 400 hurdles, sixth in the triple jump, and eighth in the long jump at the Bowdoin Aloha Relays. She also had a sixth in the 400 hurdles and a sixth in the long jump at the Colby Invitational. At the Bates Quad event, Jess finished second in the heptathlon with 3,568 points. She won the 200 and 800 meter races and was a winner in the high jump during the heptathlon. Mullaney also had a third in the 100 hurdles at the Fitchburg State meet and added a seventh in the triple jump at the Point Loma invite. At Colby: Jess majors in Biology. Before Colby: Jess played soccer, swam, and ran track. She was Valedictorian.
